Note Battery law

INFORMATION REQUIRED BY BATTERY LAW

You have bought a battery / battery or a battery operated product from us. Although the battery life is very long, it still needs to be disposed of someday. We therefore refer in each case to §18 Battery law to the following:

End-users are required by law not to dispose of batteries in the household, but to return them.

You can take batteries to a suitable collection point and return them there free of charge.

You can also sell your used batteries to MaKant Europe GmbH & Co.KG, Schlitzer Str. 8, D-60386 Frankfurt, Germany.

Old batteries may contain harmful substances or heavy metals that can harm the environment and health. Batteries can be recycled, as they contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel.

Batteries and accumulators containing pollutants are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out lump and the chemical name of the pollutant.

The characters under the rubrics are for:

Pb: Battery / battery contains lead

Cd: Battery / Battery Contains Cadmium
