KD-X561DBT. combines a DAB+ car radio in 1-DIN format with a 3-inch TFT color display. It takes up about half of the radio front and shows an overview of all audio sources, station lists and music titles as well as various setting menus. In addition to videos, the image from a rear view camera can also be displayed.

The QVGA color display can display various video formats or the image from a connected rear view camera. If the rear view camera is connected, the monitor automatically switches to the camera image as soon as reverse gear is engaged.

By pressing the “CAMERA” button, rear traffic can be monitored at any time. Of course, the prerequisite is that a reversing camera is connected to the corresponding input on the car radio.

Using the 13-band equalizer, individual frequencies can be raised or lowered in order to adapt the sound precisely to the acoustic conditions in the vehicle and to your personal taste. Nine preset EQ profiles help quickly optimize sound for specific styles of music and personal preferences.

The digital time correction enables music to be played back at the correct time and can be set individually for each channel. The exact distance to the listening position is entered individually for each channel and the DSP uses this to calculate the optimal delay time.

The DAB+ tuner receives the extensive range of digitally broadcast radio programs, even at high speeds, free of noise, crackling and level fluctuations - and not just in Germany, as DAB programs are now available in many European countries. All available DAB stations can be selected directly from a list shown on the radio display. And if a sufficiently strong DAB broadcast signal is not available, the tuner automatically switches to the appropriate FM frequency. “Service following” ensures the correct switching between the radio station that can be received via DAB and FM.

The Bluetooth module allows convenient and safe phone calls in the car. The voice quality is ensured by an extended frequency spectrum (HPF Wideband) and sophisticated sound processing to suppress background noise. When streaming audio via A2DP, the AVRCP profile is used with extended control and search functions including display of title, artist, album, etc. This makes it easy to browse the music stored on your smartphone.
